WAJAH BAHARU UNIMEL: PAPAN TANDA IKONIK TERJEMAH VISI“WE DESIGN YOUR FUTURE”

Kuala Sg.Baru, 30 Mac 2026 – Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) memperkenalkan papan tanda ikonik “I AM UNIMEL” di dataran utama kampus sebagai simbol baharu identiti, kebanggaan dan penyatuan warga universiti.

Inisiatif ini turut disokong dengan pemasangan papan tanda fakulti seperti I LOVE FUG, I LOVE FP, I LOVE FKI, I LOVE FSS, I LOVE FPHT dan I LOVE FKSK.

Naib Canselor UNIMEL, Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Abdul Khalil Shawkataly berkata, transformasi landskap ini merupakan sebahagian daripada pelan strategik universiti dalam membentuk ekosistem pembelajaran holistik.

Usaha ini selari dengan aspirasi “WE DESIGN YOUR FUTURE” serta menyokong Matlamat Pembangunan Mampan (SDG), khususnya dalam aspek kesejahteraan mental, kualiti pendidikan dan pembangunan kampus inklusif.

Inisiatif ini mencerminkan komitmen UNIMEL dalam mewujudkan persekitaran kampus yang lebih hidup, berdaya saing dan berteraskan nilai kebersamaan.

UNIMEL’S NEW LOOK: ICONIC SIGNAGE EMBODIES THE “WE DESIGN YOUR FUTURE” VISION

Kuala Sungai Baru, 30 March 2026 – Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) has introduced the iconic “I AM UNIMEL” signage at the main campus square as a new symbol of identity, pride, and unity among its university community.

This initiative is further supported by the installation of faculty signages such as “I LOVE FUG,” “I LOVE FP,” “I LOVE FKI,” “I LOVE FSS,” “I LOVE FPHT,” and “I LOVE FKSK.”

UNIMEL Vice Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Abdul Khalil Shawkataly, stated that this landscape transformation is part of the university’s strategic plan to create a holistic learning ecosystem.

The effort aligns with the “WE DESIGN YOUR FUTURE” aspiration and supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in areas of mental well-being, quality education, and inclusive campus development.

This initiative reflects UNIMEL’s commitment to fostering a more vibrant, competitive campus environment grounded in the values of unity and togetherness.
