NURSING DIPLOMA STUDENTS OF UNIMEL’S FACULTY OF NURSING AND HEALTH SCIENCES RECEIVE CONDITIONAL JOB OFFERS FROM THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH BEFORE GRADUATION

Melaka, 29 July – Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) has once again demonstrated its excellence in producing high-quality graduates as final-year students from the Diploma in Nursing, Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences (FKSK), received conditional job offer letters from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) before completing their studies.

The offers were presented during the Career Briefing Session for the U5 Grade Nursing Scheme, held at the Ibn Khaldun Auditorium, UNIMEL. The programme aimed to provide students with greater insight into career pathways in the nursing profession, as well as guidance on the application process for positions within the Malaysian public service.

The presentation of these conditional job offers reflects the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s confidence in the competency, skills, and readiness of UNIMEL’s Diploma in Nursing students to join the nation’s healthcare workforce upon graduation. The initiative also demonstrates the effectiveness of the Faculty’s teaching and training approaches in producing competent healthcare professionals who meet industry requirements.

In his welcoming address, UNIMEL Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Abdul Khalil bin Shawkataly, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to producing graduates who not only excel academically but also possess high employability and are well prepared to meet industry needs.

He stated that the presentation of conditional job offer letters to students before graduation is a recognition of the quality of UNIMEL graduates and reflects the Ministry of Health Malaysia’s confidence in their capability to contribute to the country’s healthcare system. This achievement further strengthens UNIMEL’s record in graduate employability, having received the Talentbank Employer’s Choice Awards 6-Star Recognition for three consecutive years.

The career briefing was conducted by officers from the Ministry of Health Malaysia, who shared information on career prospects, the nursing profession, and the application procedures for employment in the public sector. The speakers included:

• Puan Rohana binti Hasanuddin, Senior Assistant Secretary, Human Resource Division, Ministry of Health Malaysia.
• Puan Salbiah binti Sindot, who delivered a briefing on the nursing profession.
• Encik Azuandi bin Md Kasa, who provided guidance on job applications through the SPA9 System.

UNIMEL extends its sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) and the Public Service Commission of Malaysia (SPA) for their strategic collaboration in creating career opportunities for students. PELAJAR DIPLOMA KEJURURAWATAN FKSK UNIMEL TERIMA PELAWAAN KERJAYA KKM SEBELUM TAMAT PENGAJIAN

Melaka, 29 Julai – Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) sekali lagi membuktikan kecemerlangan dalam melahirkan graduan berkualiti apabila pelajar tahun akhir Diploma Kejururawatan, Fakulti Kejururawatan dan Sains Kesihatan (FKSK) menerima surat pelawaan kerjaya bersyarat daripada Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) sebelum menamatkan pengajian.

Pelawaan tersebut disampaikan sempena Sesi Taklimat Kerjaya Skim Jururawat Gred U5 yang berlangsung di Auditorium Ibn Khaldun, UNIMEL. Program ini bertujuan memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar mengenai laluan kerjaya dalam profesion kejururawatan serta proses permohonan jawatan dalam perkhidmatan awam.

Penerimaan surat pelawaan bersyarat ini mencerminkan keyakinan KKM terhadap kompetensi, kemahiran dan kesiapsiagaan pelajar Diploma Kejururawatan UNIMEL untuk menyertai sektor kesihatan negara sebaik sahaja menamatkan pengajian. Inisiatif ini turut membuktikan keberkesanan pendekatan pembelajaran dan latihan yang diterapkan oleh FKSK dalam melahirkan tenaga profesional yang memenuhi keperluan industri.

Dalam ucapan aluannya, Naib Canselor UNIMEL, Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Abdul Khalil bin Shawkataly menegaskan bahawa UNIMEL sentiasa komited melahirkan graduan yang bukan sahaja cemerlang dalam akademik, malah memiliki kebolehpasaran tinggi serta memenuhi keperluan industri.

Beliau berkata, penyerahan surat pelawaan kerjaya kepada pelajar sebelum tamat pengajian merupakan satu pengiktirafan terhadap kualiti graduan UNIMEL dan membuktikan keyakinan Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia terhadap kemampuan mereka untuk menyumbang kepada sistem kesihatan negara. Kejayaan ini turut mengukuhkan pencapaian UNIMEL dalam aspek kebolehpasaran graduan apabila menerima Pengiktirafan 6 Bintang Talentbank Employer’s Choice Awards selama tiga tahun berturut-turut.

Sesi taklimat telah dikendalikan oleh pegawai-pegawai Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia yang berkongsi maklumat berkaitan prospek kerjaya, profesion kejururawatan dan tatacara permohonan pekerjaan dalam sektor awam, iaitu:

• Puan Rohana binti Hasanuddin, Penolong Setiausaha Kanan, Bahagian Sumber Manusia (BSM), Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia.
• Puan Salbiah binti Sindot, yang menyampaikan taklimat mengenai profesion kejururawatan.
• Encik Azuandi bin Md Kasa, yang memberikan penerangan berhubung permohonan pekerjaan melalui Sistem SPA9.

UNIMEL merakamkan setinggi-tinggi penghargaan kepada Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) dan Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam (SPA) atas kerjasama strategik yang membuka peluang kerjaya kepada pelajar.
