UNIMEL BUKA LALUAN PANTAS IJAZAH SARJANA MUDA KEPADA PELAJAR MICOST
Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) terus memperkukuh jaringan pendidikan tinggi apabila mengadakan taklimat promosi pengajian kepada pelajar Diploma Melaka International College of Science and Technology (MICOST) dalam jurusan Pendidikan Awal Kanak-Kanak dan Perniagaan bagi membuka peluang menyambung pengajian ke peringkat Ijazah Sarjana Muda di UNIMEL.
Taklimat tersebut telah disampaikan oleh Dr. Mazni binti Muhammad, Yang Menjalankan Tugas dan Fungsi Timbalan Naib Canselor Akademik dan Antarabangsa merangkap Dekan Fakulti Pendidikan Universiti Islam Melaka.


Seramai 78 orang pelajar semester akhir MICOST hadir bagi mengikuti taklimat ini yang turut memberi pendedahan berkaitan laluan akademik, prospek kerjaya serta peluang pembangunan diri di UNIMEL.
Menurut Dr. Mazni, pendekatan pemindahan kredit ini merupakan antara inisiatif strategik UNIMEL dalam memastikan pelajar diploma mempunyai akses pendidikan tinggi yang lebih fleksibel, kompetitif dan mesra pelajar.
UNIMEL komited memperluas akses pendidikan tinggi berkualiti serta melahirkan graduan berdaya saing selari dengan keperluan industri dan pembangunan negara.
UNIMEL Opens Fast-Track Bachelor’s Degree Pathway for MICOST Students
Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) continues to strengthen its higher education network by conducting a study promotion briefing for Diploma students from Melaka International College of Science and Technology (MICOST) in the fields of Early Childhood Education and Business. The initiative aims to provide students with opportunities to further their studies at the Bachelor’s Degree level at UNIMEL.
The briefing was delivered by Dr. Mazni binti Muhammad, who is currently carrying out the duties and functions of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International Affairs) as well as serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Education at UNIMEL.
During the session, students were given information on the advantages of pursuing their studies at UNIMEL, including the opportunity for extensive credit transfer, which would help students reduce both the duration and cost of their studies before obtaining their Bachelor’s Degree.
A total of 78 final-semester MICOST students attended the briefing, which also provided exposure to academic pathways, career prospects, and self-development opportunities at UNIMEL.
According to Dr. Mazni, this credit transfer approach is one of UNIMEL’s strategic initiatives to ensure diploma students have access to a more flexible, competitive, and student-friendly higher education system.
