NUR RAMADAN: 67 PELAJAR TAHFIZ BESTARI UNIMEL SEMPURNAKAN MAJLIS KHATAM AL-QURAN

MELAKA – Suasana di Pusat ICT Al-Biruni, Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) hari ini diselubungi rasa tenang dan syahdu apabila seramai 67 orang pelajar daripada Pusat Tahfiz Bestari berkumpul bagi menyempurnakan Majlis Khatam Al-Quran.

Majlis yang diadakan bersempena dengan bulan Ramadan yang mulia ini bukan sekadar satu acara tradisi, malah ia merupakan simbolik kepada kecintaan para pelajar terhadap kalam Allah dalam bulan yang diturunkan Al-Quran (Nuzul Al-Quran).

Bagi seorang pelajar tahfiz, Ramadan adalah medan ujian dan pembuktian kepada disiplin serta hafalan yang telah dipelajari. Dengan bimbingan para guru, 67 pelajar ini berjaya menamatkan bacaan 30 juzuk, sekali gus membuktikan komitmen tinggi mereka dalam memartabatkan syiar Islam di bumi UNIMEL.

Majlis tersebut telah diserikan dengan kehadiran Yang Berusaha Ustaz Mohd Izzuddin bin Mohd Noor, Pengarah Pusat Tahfiz Bestari UNIMEL. Kehadiran beliau bukan sahaja sebagai perasmi, malah sebagai tanda sokongan moral yang tidak berbelah bahagi kepada para pelajar.

Dalam ucapannya, beliau menekankan bahawa gelaran ‘Tahfiz Bestari’ perlu dibawa dengan penuh tanggungjawab. Beliau mahu pelajar-pelajar ini bukan sahaja cemerlang dalam hafalan, tetapi juga menjadi contoh dari segi akhlak dan sahsiah kepada mahasiswa UNIMEL yang lain.

“Khatam Al-Quran di bulan Ramadan adalah satu pencapaian rohani yang sangat bermakna. Saya berharap agar nur Al-Quran ini terus mengalir dalam sanubari setiap pelajar, bukan sahaja di dalam dewan ini, tetapi dalam setiap langkah kehidupan mereka selepas ini,” ujar Ustaz Mohd Izzuddin.

Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan doa khatam yang penuh emosi, memohon keberkatan agar ilmu yang dihafal kekal dalam ingatan dan menjadi syafaat di akhirat kelak. Penganjuran majlis seperti ini membuktikan bahawa UNIMEL terus komited dalam melahirkan pelajar yang seimbang dari sudut akademik dan spiritual, selaras dengan visi universiti untuk melahirkan insan yang ‘bestari’ duniawi dan ukhrawi.

MELAKA – The atmosphere at the Al-Biruni ICT Centre, Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL), was filled with serenity and emotion as a total of 67 students from the Tahfiz Bestari Centre gathered to complete the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony.

Held in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, the event was not merely a traditional ceremony but also a symbol of the students’ deep love for the words of Allah during the month in which the Quran was revealed (Nuzul Al-Quran).

For a tahfiz student, Ramadan serves as a period of testing and a testament to their discipline and memorisation. With guidance from their teachers, all 67 students successfully completed the recitation of all 30 juz’, demonstrating their strong commitment to upholding Islamic values at UNIMEL.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Ustaz Mohd Izzuddin bin Mohd Noor, Director of the Tahfiz Bestari Centre at UNIMEL. His attendance was not only as an officiant but also as a gesture of unwavering moral support for the students.

In his speech, he emphasised that the title “Tahfiz Bestari” must be carried with great responsibility. He expressed his hope that the students would not only excel in memorisation but also serve as role models in terms of character and moral conduct among other UNIMEL students.

“Completing the Quran during Ramadan is a deeply meaningful spiritual achievement. I hope that the light of the Quran continues to illuminate the hearts of these students, not only within this hall but throughout every step of their lives,” he said.

The ceremony concluded with an emotional recitation of the Khatam prayer, seeking blessings so that the knowledge memorised remains preserved and becomes a source of intercession in the hereafter. The organisation of such a programme reflects UNIMEL’s ongoing commitment to nurturing students who are balanced both academically and spiritually, in line with the university’s vision of producing individuals who are intellectually and spiritually excellent.
