PROGRAM CHOCOMILK IMMERSION DEDAH PELAJAR KEPADA AMALAN INDUSTRI MAKANAN DAN MINUMAN
Suasana pembelajaran di luar bilik kuliah memberi pengalaman yang lebih bermakna apabila seramai 43 orang pelajar bersama seorang pensyarah daripada The Marketing Club (TMKC) telah menyertai Program ChocoMilk Immersion yang berlangsung pada 4 Julai 2026. Program ini dianjurkan bagi memberi pendedahan secara langsung kepada pelajar mengenai operasi sebenar industri makanan dan minuman melalui lawatan akademik ke Beryl’s Chocolate & Confectionery serta Farm Fresh @ UPM.
Program tersebut disertai oleh 44 orang peserta yang terdiri daripada 43 orang pelajar dan seorang pensyarah, iaitu Puan Suzana Bt. Ab. Rahman yang bertindak sebagai penyelaras TMKC serta pegawai pengiring.
Sepanjang lawatan, para peserta berpeluang menyaksikan sendiri proses pengeluaran produk, pengurusan operasi, strategi pemasaran, penjenamaan produk serta pelaksanaan amalan kelestarian yang diamalkan oleh kedua-dua syarikat. Pendedahan ini memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih menyeluruh dan praktikal kepada pelajar, sekali gus menghubungkan teori yang dipelajari di dalam bilik kuliah dengan realiti industri.
Program ini turut berjaya mencapai objektifnya dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, kemahiran dan kesedaran pelajar terhadap kepentingan inovasi, etika perniagaan serta pembangunan perniagaan yang mampan. Pengalaman yang diperoleh diharap dapat membantu pelajar meningkatkan daya saing dan kesediaan mereka untuk memasuki alam pekerjaan pada masa hadapan.
Secara keseluruhannya, Program ChocoMilk Immersion telah mencapai matlamat yang ditetapkan serta memberikan impak positif kepada semua peserta. Di samping memperkukuhkan pembelajaran berasaskan pengalaman, program ini turut menyokong Matlamat Pembangunan Mampan (Sustainable Development Goals, SDG), khususnya SDG 4: Pendidikan Bermutu, SDG 8: Pekerjaan yang Layak dan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, serta SDG 12: Penggunaan dan Pengeluaran yang Bertanggungjawab menerusi pendedahan kepada amalan industri yang mampan dan berdaya saing.
CHOCOMILK IMMERSION PROGRAM EXPOSES STUDENTS TO FOOD AND BEVERAGE INDUSTRY PRACTICES
Learning beyond the classroom took on greater meaning as 43 students, accompanied by a lecturer from The Marketing Club (TMKC), participated in the ChocoMilk Immersion Programme held on 4 July 2026. The programme was organised to provide students with first-hand exposure to the real-world operations of the food and beverage industry through an academic visit to Beryl’s Chocolate & Confectionery and Farm Fresh @ UPM.
The program involved 44 participants, comprising 43 students and one lecturer, Puan Suzana Bt. Ab. Rahman, who served as the TMKC coordinator and accompanying officer.
Throughout the visits, participants had the opportunity to observe product manufacturing processes, operational management, marketing strategies, product branding, and sustainability practices implemented by both companies. This exposure provided students with a more comprehensive and practical learning experience, bridging the gap between classroom theory and real-world industry practices.
The program successfully achieved its objectives of enhancing studentsβ knowledge, skills, and awareness of the importance of innovation, business ethics, and sustainable business development. The experience gained is expected to strengthen studentsβ competitiveness and better prepare them for future careers in the workforce.
Overall, the ChocoMilk Immersion Program successfully met its intended objectives and had a positive impact on all participants. In addition to strengthening experiential learning, the program also supported the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, by exposing students to sustainable and competitive industry practices.
