UNIMEL – ALAM: MEMPERKUKUH JARINGAN STRATEGIK PENDIDIKAN TINGGI

Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) terus melangkah proaktif dalam memperluas jaringan kerjasama strategik menerusi Majlis Menandatangani Memorandum Persefahaman (MoU) dan Surat Niat (LoI) bersama Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM) yang berlangsung pada 6 Mei 2026.

Yang hadir bagi pihak UNIMEL ialah YBhg. Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Abdul Khalil bin Shawkataly, Naib Canselor UNIMEL, manakala pihak ALAM diketuai oleh Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Abu Abdullah, Ketua Eksekutif ALAM. Turut hadir ialah barisan pengurusan tertinggi kedua-dua pihak.

Kerjasama ini merangkumi inisiatif akademik yang berpotensi memperkasa laluan pendidikan tinggi khususnya dalam bidang berkaitan industri maritim dan profesional.

Menurut Naib Canselor UNIMEL, inisiatif ini mencerminkan komitmen UNIMEL dalam memperluas akses pendidikan berkualiti serta memperkukuh kebolehpasaran graduan melalui jaringan industri yang strategik.

UNIMEL – ALAM: Strengthening Strategic Higher Education Networks

Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) continues to take proactive steps in expanding its strategic collaboration network through the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Letter of Intent (LoI) Signing Ceremony with Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM), which took place on 6 May 2026.

Representing UNIMEL was YBhg. Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Abdul Khalil Shawkataly, while ALAM was led by Prof. Emeritus Dato’ Dr. Abu Abdullah. The event was also attended by the senior management teams of both institutions.

This collaboration encompasses academic initiatives with the potential to strengthen higher education pathways, particularly in fields related to the maritime and professional industries.

According to the Vice Chancellor of UNIMEL, this initiative reflects the university’s commitment to expanding access to quality education and enhancing graduate employability through strategic industry partnerships.
