NAIB CANSELOR UNIMEL TERIMA KUNJUNG HORMAT MPP SESI 2026
MELAKA, 25 Februari 2025 – Naib Canselor Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL), Abdul Khalil Shawkataly telah menerima kunjungan hormat barisan kepimpinan baharu Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) UNIMEL bagi sesi 2026 yang berlangsung di Bilik Mesyuarat Tun Sri Lanang, kampus UNIMEL, baru-baru ini.
Kunjungan tersebut diketuai oleh Presiden MPP, Muhammad Anuar Farihin Abdul Razak bersama 24 barisan kepimpinan mahasiswa yang baharu dilantik. Pertemuan ini bertujuan memperkenalkan saf kepimpinan MPP sesi 2026 di samping mendapatkan amanat serta hala tuju kepimpinan mahasiswa daripada Naib Canselor.
Dalam pertemuan tersebut, Naib Canselor menzahirkan ucapan tahniah kepada barisan kepimpinan MPP yang baharu dan menekankan kepentingan peranan mahasiswa sebagai rakan strategik pengurusan universiti. Beliau turut mengingatkan agar kepimpinan pelajar sentiasa mengamalkan prinsip integriti, profesionalisme dan semangat kebersamaan dalam melaksanakan tanggungjawab.
Kunjungan hormat ini mencerminkan hubungan erat antara pengurusan universiti dan kepimpinan mahasiswa dalam usaha memperkukuh ekosistem kampus yang inklusif, progresif dan berdaya saing.
Diharapkan Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar UNIMEL sesi 2026 akan terus komited menjadi suara mahasiswa serta memainkan peranan aktif sebagai jambatan penghubung antara pelajar dan pentadbiran universiti demi kesejahteraan bersama.
UNIMEL VICE CHANCELLOR RECEIVES COURTESY VISIT FROM STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL (MPP) 2026
MELAKA, 25 February 2025 – The Vice Chancellor of Universiti Islam Melaka, Abdul Khalil Shawkataly, recently received a courtesy visit from the newly appointed leadership line-up of the Student Representative Council (MPP) for the 2026 session. The meeting was held at the Tun Sri Lanang Meeting Room, UNIMEL campus.
The delegation was led by MPP President, Muhammad Anuar Farihin Abdul Razak, along with 24 newly appointed student leaders. The purpose of the visit was to formally introduce the 2026 MPP leadership while also receiving guidance and direction from the Vice Chancellor regarding student leadership.
During the session, the Vice Chancellor extended his congratulations to the newly appointed MPP leaders and emphasised the importance of students’ roles as strategic partners to the university’s management. He also reminded them to consistently uphold the principles of integrity, professionalism, and unity in carrying out their responsibilities.
This courtesy visit reflects the strong relationship between the university’s management and student leadership in strengthening a campus ecosystem that is inclusive, progressive, and competitive.
It is hoped that the UNIMEL Student Representative Council for the 2026 session will remain committed to being the voice of the students and continue to play an active role as a bridge between the student body and the university administration for the collective well-being.
