UNIMEL PERKUKUH JARINGAN GLOBAL, SASAR HAB KECEMERLANGAN INDUSTRIAL HALAL ANTARABANGSA
Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) terus memperkukuh agenda pengantarabangsaan menerusi sesi libat urus strategik bersama delegasi Guangdong Grand Fortunes Holding Group Co. Ltd., China bagi meneroka kerjasama berimpak tinggi yang bakal memperkukuh pembangunan pendidikan, penyelidikan, inovasi dan ekosistem industri halal di peringkat antarabangsa.
Delegasi UNIMEL diketuai oleh YBhg. Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Abdul Khalil bin Shawakataly, Naib Canselor UNIMEL, manakala delegasi Guangdong Grand Fortunes Holding Group Co. Ltd. diketuai oleh Mr. Jin Hai Ming, Pengerusi syarikat. Pertemuan ini menjadi platform penting dalam memperluas jaringan kerjasama rentas negara yang menggabungkan kekuatan akademia, industri dan pelaburan bagi mempercepat pembangunan ekonomi halal berasaskan inovasi.



Perbincangan memfokuskan cadangan penubuhan UNIMEL Halal Center of Excellence, sebuah pusat kecemerlangan strategik yang disasarkan menjadi hab rujukan serantau dalam industri halal. Inisiatif ini mencerminkan komitmen UNIMEL dalam memperluaskan jaringan strategik antarabangsa, memperkukuh sinergi universitiβindustriβkerajaan (Triple Helix) serta menyokong aspirasi Malaysia sebagai peneraju ekonomi halal global.
Kerjasama ini juga diyakini mampu meningkatkan pengiktirafan dan keterlihatan UNIMEL di peringkat antarabangsa, sekali gus mengukuhkan kedudukannya sebagai universiti Islam progresif yang menjadi rakan strategik pilihan dalam pembangunan pendidikan tinggi, penyelidikan dan industri halal.
UNIMEL Strengthens Global Network, Targets International Halal Industry Centre of Excellence
The Universiti Islam Melaka (UNIMEL) continues to strengthen its internationalisation agenda through a strategic engagement session with a delegation from Guangdong Grand Fortunes Holding Group Co. Ltd., China, to explore high-impact collaborations that will enhance education, research, innovation, and the halal industry ecosystem at the international level.
The UNIMEL delegation was led by YBhg. Prof. Datuk Ts. Dr. Abdul Khalil bin Shawakataly, Vice-Chancellor of UNIMEL, while the Guangdong Grand Fortunes Holding Group Co. Ltd. delegation was headed by Mr. Jin Hai Ming, Chairman of the company. The meeting served as an important platform to expand cross-border strategic partnerships by integrating the strengths of academia, industry, and investment to accelerate the development of an innovation-driven halal economy.
Discussions focused on the proposed establishment of the UNIMEL Halal Center of Excellence, a strategic centre envisioned to become a leading regional reference hub for the halal industry. This initiative reflects UNIMEL’s commitment to expanding its international strategic network, strengthening the universityβindustryβgovernment (Triple Helix) collaboration, and supporting Malaysia’s aspiration to become a global leader in the halal economy.
This collaboration is also expected to enhance UNIMEL’s international recognition and visibility, further reinforcing its position as a progressive Islamic university and a preferred strategic partner in higher education, research, and halal industry development.
